<p>Total Ball Crunches &#8211; This is a reliable beginning abs exercise.</p>
<p>- Step 1 &#8211; Sit on the ball and put your hands on the back of your head and jog your legs out lowering your body on to the ball until your upper torso and shoulders are all that remain on top of the ball. Legs should be shoulder width apart.</p>

<p>- Step 4 &#8211; absorb the set for a moment then slowly lower the shoulders to the ball and repeat for as many times as you can do the rep without straining.</p>

<p>Exercise routines for women, as opposed to men. usually target different areas such as their butt, their legs, their triceps, and of course , their abs. Women&#8217;s bodies have areas that like to store fat more so than men. Women need to focus on lighter weights and a moderate level of reps, say 10 to 15, as opposed to 40 or greater for a man inorder to achieve the necessary fat burn and to sculpt their figure and ultimately achieve <b>flat abs</b>.</p>
<p>A good exercise routine for women, if you’re looking to burn fat and lose weight, is just the same as a man. The ideal routine would comprise of bodyweight and full body exercises done in a repetitive pattern ranging from five to ten exercises.</p>
<p>For instance, you could do these repetitions:</p>
<p>1. pushups (Pecs and triceps)<br />
2. inverted rows (rear delts, lats &#038; biceps)<br />
3. squats (glutes, upper hamstrings &#038; quads<br />
4. mountain climbers (abs, shoulders and arms)<br />
5. jumping jacks (cardio, to many to name here)<br />
6. squat thrusts w/ pushup (see #’s 1, 3 &#038;4 above)</p>
<p>You could do the above exercises for 10 reps each for 5 sets, non stop. Or you could do each exercise for 20 seconds, take 10 seconds to switch to the next, and do that for about 30 minutes.</p>
<p>The use of most of the muscles in the body and the abdominal muscles in particular while going over the routine will ultimately cause three things: burning of calories, strengthening of body, and coordinating the bodily functions.</p>
<p>The above exercise routine, or a like one, could be done on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Performing the exercises will simultaneously give you a great workout for the cardio. Your <u>best abs workout</u> wil be achieved by your persistance and incorperating focus on other muscle groups which ultimately attach to, and work out the abdominal muscles too.</p>
<p>On Mondays, wednesdays and Fridays, you could do a 20 minute sprint and jog in between. The first month you would do a 1:3 work to rest ratio. Workout (A) would be a 30 second sprint followed by a 90 second jog or walk (a 3 to 5 on your perceived exertion scale). You would do that 2 minute round 10 times.</p>
<p>An alternate abs routine would be a 60 second sprint with a 3 minute jog. That 4 minute round would be done 5 times for 20 minutes. Alternate between workout A and workout B.Month 2 would be a 1:2 work to rest ratio. Month 3 would be a 1:1 ratio and the 4th month would be a 2:1 work to rest ratio. For four months, you will find yourself gaining positive grounds, and when you look dowm your <i>flat abs</i> will surprize you. There are a variety of crunch positions that will work but here are three of the best ab exercises for women who want to gain visable results.</p>
<p>Ball Crunches &#8211; This is a beneficial one if you are a slow starter.</p>
<p>- Step 1 &#8211; Sit on the ball and area your hands on the benefit of your head and paddle your legs out lowering your body on to the ball until your upper body and shoulders are all that remain on top of the ball. Legs should be shoulder width apart.</p>
<p>- Step 2 &#8211; occupy your pelvic to straighten your lower encourage and tighten your buttocks and contract the abdomen muscles.</p>
<p>- Steps 3 &#8211; Keeping your elbows pointing out to the side slowly raise the shoulders slightly being careful not to pull the neck. You should feel the crunch in the abdominals; the thighs and buttock muscles will be working too.</p>
<p>- Step 4 &#8211; hold the location for a moment then slowly lower the shoulders to the ball and repeat as many times as you can without straining.</p>
<p>Rest for 30 seconds or less between sets. Do 2 or 3 sets of 12 to 15 repetitions every other day.</p>
<p>Floor bicycle movement &#8211; This abs exercise does not require any equipment.</p>
<p>- Step 1 &#8211; Lie on your back with your hands behind your head and legs straight out.</p>
<p>- Step 2 &#8211; Contract your abdomen muscles and grasp one leg bending your knee while raising your shoulders slightly off the floor without pulling your neck.</p>
<p>- Step 3 &#8211; Bring your elbow and knee together bending so that the elbow and knee slightly touch.</p>
<p>- Step 4 &#8211; Lower and then change sides so the other leg in a bicycle movement touching knee to elbow; rest .</p>
<p>fade through the positions slowly. You can vary this ab workout by bringing the knee and elbow of the opposite sides together requiring the upper body to turn slightly from side to side. This maneuver is very effective and works the oblique as well as both the upper and lower abdominals.</p>
<p>Hanging Knee Raises &#8211; This is a most effective expend but needs gym equipment (Captain&#8217;s Chair. )</p>
<p>- Step 1 &#8211; The body is held accurate by the arms resting on padded arm bars with the feet handing down. The lower support is straight and supported by a help rest.</p>
<p>- Step 2 &#8211; Contract the abdominal muscles and capture both knees slowly up toward the chest,</p>
<p>- Step 3 &#8211; stop and then slowly lower the legs slowly down to the starting set. The muscles are constantly contracted throughout the exercise.</p>
<p>This abdominal workout is the most effective because it works both the upper and lower abs, help and arm muscles for an overall core strengthening employ.</p>
